The Hostile Environment & Field Trauma (HEFAT) course equips participants with the practical skills and confidence to manage medical emergencies, safety incidents, and operational risks in remote, challenging, or high-threat environments.

Developed to UK clinical standards, the programme blends trauma management, field safety, and situational awareness through immersive, scenario-based learning.

Delivered by experienced pre-hospital clinicians and operational instructors, this course reflects the realities of working in humanitarian, media, and private-sector environments across the Middle East.

  • 5 days (initial)
  •  1 day annual refresher
  • 4-day requalification
